| Emotion is an experience that people sense and feel. Emotion is the way in which people express their spiritual state. Feelings can describe love, hate, happiness, courage, fear, pleasure, sadness, revulsion and so on. Feelings can have a physical effect - for example, excitement or laughter can bring color to our cheeks.
There are positive feelings and there are negative feelings. For example, a feeling of depression can cause people to be sad, not to eat, and even not get out of bed. We are not always aware of the exact cause of our emotional response. Sometimes the emotional response is an automatic reaction to the stimulus itself.
It is hard to believe that we can affect our emotions, but apparently it is possible. Intellect influences emotions. Good thoughts lead to good feelings.
We are constantly seeking happiness. Some people think that it is possible to achieve happiness through positive emotions.
